As partners we will work together towards our mutual goals of operating and growing a successful business. In other words, the decision-making process will be mutual and inclusive.
This partnership is not just lip-service – we are truly equity partners! With this in mind, you will have the opportunity to “roll equity” into our partnership, which means that you maintain an ownership stake in your business, as well as benefit from the growth of the platform. Your shares at Aesthetic Partners will allow you to benefit from the long-term success of our fast-growing company, as true partners would.
Generally speaking, we believe that we are buying premium clinics that have a substantial amount of brand reputation which we will want to maintain. In some cases, and depending on the specific market and branding strategy, we can explore adopting one of our regional brands which have the benefit of streamlined processes, and lower operating costs due to scale.
Absolutely, in fact, we encourage all of our partnering physicians to continue practicing as long as desired and require a minimum of 2 years. However, some physicians will want to slow down over time, and together we will work on creating and implementing a succession and exit plan that works for the partnership.
A key priority as we transition to our partnership model is to ensure that strong teams are maintained and motivated. We partner with the most successful and premium clinics, and strongly believe that their success is the result of their team’s talent, and hard work. As partners, we will work closely to provide the team with ample opportunities to grow professionally within our organization. With our connections throughout the industry, we can also recruit top talent in order to grow your organization.
The valuation of your business is dependent on many factors, but the most important ones are the amount of earnings being generated, the rate of growth, reputation, and overall operational efficiency. We can typically provide high-level terms shortly after our initial meetings.
